Districts of San Diego

Pacific Beach:  Centrally located in the heart of the beach life of San Diego situated between La Jolla and Mission Beach.  Boardwalk is no more than a 5 minute walk from HappyNest!  Farmer's Market on Tuesdays from 2pm-7pm rain or shine.

Mission Beach:​  Roller coaster rides, surf park, boardwalk connecting to Pacific Beach and Sail Bay

​

​Ocean Beach:  Dog friendly beaches, laid back atmosphere, less touristy.  Farmer's Market on Wednesdays from 4-8pm rain or shine.

​

Gas Lamp:​  The downtown center of San Diego.  Long list of restaurants and night life, mostly on 5th Avenue.

​

Little Italy:​  Concentrated location for authentic Italian restaurants and markets.  Largest Farmer's Market in San Diego on Saturdays from 8am-2pm rain or shine.

Old Town:  Birthplace of California.  Great place to step back into the past and get a small glimpse of what it was like in 1850.  Old town features excellent Mexican food and several shops.  Check out the olive oil tasting room and the library of hot sauces!

La Jolla:  The jewel of San Diego, located on the north end of the city.  High end shopping and fine dining in the village, underwater park in the cove, and beautiful shores throughout.  5 mile bike ride from the HappyNest!  Farmer's Market on Sundays from 9am-1pm rain or shine.

Coronado:​  Inspiration for the Emerald City from The Wizard of Oz, this historic southern San Diego island has charm and  charisma.  Visit the iconic Hotel Del Coronado with its rich history, center of the jet setters in the US for over 100 years.

​

Hillcrest:  Fabulous Hillcrest is home of eclectic antique shops and good eats.  Farmer's Market on Sundays from 9am-2pm rain or shine.
